Trailing long robes behind them, festooned in jewels, brooches and seals against fiends, Arcanists wield forbidden magic thought lost to the sands of time. - spells to weaken with crushing force, spells to steal health or cut with bursts of darkness, spells to cast illusions over the minds of enemies. These are the spells of lost worlds and lost places, and the calm eyes of an Arcanist speak more about the world's history than any tome they pore through.

Arcane Magic has a selection of damage spells, but its true power lurks elsewhere. Your allies are tools for you to shape the battle. As for the enemies, you have a variety of tools to cut any foe down to size.

The Arcanist is capable of casting spells using his HP pool, rather than MP. Blood Price can be activated anytime the Arcanist cast a spell, but does not need to be active every time.

Scarlet Delirium

As the Arcanist is badgered by his foes attacks, his own strength grows. Keep track of the actual damage that the Arcanist takes each battle - when the Arcanist has lost an amount of HP equal to 50% of his maximum value, the Arcanist gains a +25% situational modifier to all damage he deals for the rest of the battle. After the Arcanist has taken damage equal to 100% of his max HP, this increases to a +50% situational modifier. This situational modifier persist even if the Arcanist is KOd in battle, but is reset to zero at the start of each new fight. HP lost as part of the price for using an ability (like Souleater or Wish, or any spell using Blood Price) does not count towards the amount of damage needed to receive the situational damage modifier.
